Stacey Enyart (Owner/Instructor)

Stacey, a Florida native, received Cum Laude Honors with a BA in dance from Point Park Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA. While in the States, Stacey studied with many companies and choreographers such as; Michelle Assaf, Cleveland San Jose Ballet, Savion Glover, Kenneth Laws, Mia Michaels, Ballet Met, Margaret Morrison, David Parsons, Nicholas Petrov, Gill Stroming, Ron Tassone and Tim Veach, just to name a few. Stacey also performed for RCI on two of their new cruise lines, Celebrity Cruises, traveling from British Columbia, down the west coast, through the Panama Canal, across the seas, up the Baltic and down the Mediterranean Seas.

Along with performing Stacey has also pursued many other careers in the entertainment field. She has choreographed for numerous companies throughout the United States, UK and Scotland, and is currently the founding director of the entire dance department at Wesley Chapel High School. Recently you may have seen Stacey as the jazz director at New Tampa Dance Theater as well as the only residential jazz teacher and choreographer for Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Marcia P. Hoffman Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. She continuously is connected within the community volunteering not only her talent but her students as well. Stacey looks forward to a great season at Suncoast Dance as owner and artistic director.


Lindsay Matyok (Instructor)

Lindsay is a graduate of Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She grew up in Trenton, Michigan where she was trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe and lyrical by numerous professional instructors including: Mark Goodman, Jenny Ballard, Rob Schultz, Keith Clifton, Joe Perez, Michael Ness and Mya Pingle. As a young dancer, Lindsay played the role of “Clara” in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in 1997 at the Fox Theater in Detroit. She competed in many regional and national dance competitions while she trained under Sherry Blaha at Sherry’s Academy of Dance in Carleton, Michigan.

While at Point Park she was trained by instructors such as Douglas Bentz, Judith Leifer-Bentz, Ron Tassone, Nicholas Petrov and Jay Kirk. She performed in a great deal of concerts, some of which included a duet choreographed by Harisson McEldowney, a choreographer of Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago, called “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off”, and “Danzon”, a piece choreographed by Margo Sappington, also a choreographer of Hubbard Street Dance Company. Since graduating, she has performed in “Christmas Dreams”, in Branson, Missouri, performed on the Ryndam, a cruise ship of the Holland America line, for seven months, worked as a magician’s assistant for Aarron Radatz, and presently performs at Disney World in the Actors Equity shows: Beauty and the Beast, at Hollywood Studios and Dream Along With Mickey at Magic Kingdom. Lindsay is excited about joining the faculty at Suncoast Dance Theatre and looks forward to a talent filled season.


Carley Prynn (Instructor)

Carley is currently attending the University of Tampa on a Dean’s Scholarship with a major in Public Health and a minor in dance. In 2008, Carley was awarded the Outstanding New Dancer by the University of Tampa’s department of Theatre and Dance. Throughout her 14 years as a performer Carley has performed at numerous events including corporate functions, charity events and University dance concerts. She has worked with choreographers such as Joe Tremaine, Marty Dew, Doug Caldwell, and Laurie Johnson. In addition to her dance activities, Carley was also a nationally ranked rhythmic gymnast, by competing in the 2005 junior Olympics. Carley is excited about developing the young stars of tomorrow and helping each student reach their full potential.


Michelle Allen (Instructor)

Michelle, a most recent company member of Dance Theatre of Tampa, is a Tampa native where she studied at New Tampa Dance Theatre from 1995-2006 under the instruction of Dyane Elikns-Ironwing. Michelle has studied extensively at the Georgia Youth Ballet, the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., the Northwest Florida Ballet, and the Florida Dance Festival with Sean Curran, Michael Foley, Jennifer Archibald and Larry Kegwin. While with DTT, Michelle worked with Monica Richards, Margaret Morrison, and Josh Widdick. Michelle also trained with tap legends Vincent Bingham and Chloe Arnold while performing in the Tap Ensemble of “The Chocolate Nutcracker” performed at Ruth Eckerd Hall from 2001-2004. In addition she has trained in New York City with well-known jazz and hip-hop artists such as Michelle Assaf, Wes Veldink, Rhapsody, Luam, Slam, and Tommy Scrivens.

Most recently Michelle was a teacher and choreographer for Ruth Eckerd Hall’s “Summer Intensive Hip Hop Workshops”. Michelle’s enthusiasm for the new season at Suncoast Dance Theatre is through the roof and she is ecstatic to be part of the wonderful adventure that all students will bring to her throughout the year.


Angela Mazziotta (Instructor)

Angela Mazziotta is in her fourth and final year at the University of South Florida, pursuing a BFA in Dance Performance with an emphasis on modern dance. As a child, Angela always had a passion for dance, and began training seriously in ballet and modern at her high school in Fort Myers, FL under the instruction of Patricia Gair and Nancy Petro. Angela has worked extensively with the entire dance faculty at USF, including: Gretchen Ward Warren, Sandra Robinson, John Parks, Lynne Wimmer, Michael Foley, and Jeanne Travers.

Angela has had the pleasure of performing works by Michael Foley, Dionne Sparkman Noble, Mariah Maloney, Wade Madsen, Bill Young, Colleen Thomas and several of her unbelievably talented colleagues. Her original choreography has been formally presented at the National High School Dance Festival in Baltimore (2005), USF (2007 and 2008), Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop (2007), American College Dance Festival Association (2008) and in Paris as well as Marseille, France (2008).

Being part of the wonderful team at Suncoast Dance Theatre is a new and exciting experience, and Angela is looking forward to the season and all it holds.


Faith McPherson (Instructor)

Faith McPherson, a Tampa native, received the Promising Artist Scholarship along with a BFA in dance education from the University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Faith is a proud alumni of Howard W. Blake High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduating class of 2000. Faith Has performed under the choreographic direction of such greats as: Keith Young, Ronen Koresh, Mia Michaels, Cuban Pete, Patrick Swayze, Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Desmond Richardson, Travis Payne, Tony Gonzalez, Ruthie Andrein, Pat Thomas and Paula Abdul, to name a few.

Faith currently can be found as the dance instructor at the Walton Academy for the Performing Arts; an “A+” charter school with the Hillsborough County School District. Along with performing she was a member of the planning committee for the 4th National High School Dance Festival, participated in the Garden State Dance Festival and is an active member of the National Dance Educators of America Organization. Faith is directly and continuously connected to the mission of spreading the knowledge of dance throughout her community and the general public. She is very enthusiastic about the upcoming season at Suncoast Dance Theatre.


Christina Ferraro (Instructor)

Christina Ferraro is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance, with a concentration in ballet. She has been dancing since she was five years old, and during high school attended summer programs at the Virginia School of the Arts. While at USF she attended programs at the American College Dance Festival Association for three consecutive years.. She has worked with world renowned choreographers like Trisha Brown, Donna Silva, and Mariah Maloney and has most recently trained with Gretchen Ward Warren, Sandra Robinson, John Parks, Lynne Wimmer, Michael Foley, and Jeanne Travers. She preformed in the adaptation of Trisha Brown’s world famous work, Set and Reset/Reset, where she performed in the ‘cat’s duet’. She was also a soloist in the University’s presentation of the classical ballet, Les Sylphides. Christina recently was accepted into the Atlanta Ballet Company, but was unable to attend due to injury. Presently, you will find Christina performing in Katonga at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida as well as teaching at SD Theatre. She is enthralled about the upcoming season and looks forward to educating our youth with her passion for ballet, dance, and performance.
